This 20 minute quick and easy air fryer Paneer Tikka is going to be your next favourite meal to whip up for those lazy no-cook but healthy delicious kinda days!

💌Why I Love this Air Fryer version Paneer Tikka:
I love quick and easy meals so much especially when I have had such a busy day and don’t have the time and energy to cook something up even though I absolutely enjoy cooking there are days I just need to relax and be a couch potato which is where this recipe fits perfectly!
It just needs a couple minutes of prep work coated with spices that are easily adjustable to your preference and done! the air fryer does the rest. I lovee the convenience and the return is so worthwhile, it’s delicious, finger licking good and a protein high meal making it a win-win! now who doesn’t love that?
I also made the exact recipe using tofu and I must say I was really impressed with the results, I loved it!! The tofu wasn’t drying and the coated spices really enhanced its flavours, even my husband who isn’t a big fan of tofu really liked it!
I hope you give this a try for days when you need something quick and easy but also healthy!
~with love, Jahnvi
🛒 Ingredients for Paneer Tikka:

Spices include: turmeric powder, Kashmiri powder (it is less spicy), cumin powder, coriander powder, amchur powder (dried mango powder), garam masala, chaat masala, and black pepper.
📝 Substitutes on Ingredients:
- Spices: The spices I used might seem a lot to you but trust me they don’t overpower the recipe but rather compliment it with various flavour bursts however you can easily exclude any you don’t have or adjust the quantity to your preference for example instead of red chilli powder you can use cayenne pepper mix as well. Similarly you can skip dried mango powder with more ratio of the lemon juice.
- Paneer: Like I mentioned in why I love this recipe, I made the exact recipe using tofu and It came out really good so you can easily replace paneer with tofu instead or any other protein of your choice.
Step by Step Guide to Paneer Tikka:

Begin by preparing the Marinade:
- In a large bowl, add yogurt,
- Add chickpea flour – this helps to thicken the marinade allowing it to coat on the veggies. Then whisk the chickpea flour to ensure there’s no lumps in the mixture,
- Add ginger-garlic paste,
- Add carom seeds,
- Add all spices mentioned in the ingredient notes and feel free to adjust as mentioned in the substitutes,
- Add salt and lastly any cooking oil and give it a good mix. The marinade is ready!
Add in the veggies and paneer and some kasuri meethi (dried fenugreek leaves) to the large bowl and give it a good mix to ensure all the vegetables and paneer and properly coated especially those onion layers. You can let it rest for 5 mins or longer if you’d prefer or simply place in air fryer!

Preheat the air fryer to 290°C (554°F) and place the mixture in a silicone basket or the air fryer basket directly or else you can also place them on skewers. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through for an even char.
🍢 Serve & Enjoy
Garnish with a sprinkle of lemon juice 🍋 and you can enjoy this with chutneys or ketchup, you can also roll it like a taco or serve with rice, top it with salad – whatever you’re in the mood of!
