How to Make Masala Chai

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon black tea
  • 1.5 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6-7 mint leaves

In a mortar pestle grind the following:

  • 6-7 cardamom pods
  • 2 inch ginger

Instructions
 

  • Make a paste of ginger and cardamom.
    2 inch ginger, 6-7 cardamom pods
  • Boil water in a pot.
    1 cup water
  • Add black tea, sugar, ginger-cardamom paste, and black pepper.
    1 tablespoon black tea, 1.5 tablespoon sugar, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, 6-7 cardamom pods, 2 inch ginger
  • Let it fully boil, then add milk and lastly mint leaves
    1 cup milk, 6-7 mint leaves
  • Boil for 3-4 minutes on high heat and serve hot with Parle-G biscuits or any favourite sweet or savoury snack, all goes amazing!
